Our infrastructure is hosted in ISO 27001-certified data centers in the EU and US. All file transfers use TLS 1.3 encryption.
Data retention
Uploaded files are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers within 2 hours of upload. This is enforced at the infrastructure level.
Anonymized usage logs (no file content or personal identifiers) may be retained for up to 12 months for security and performance analysis.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes. Payment data (card numbers, bank details) is handled entirely by Razorpay (India) and Paddle (international) — we never store your payment credentials.
Payment Processing
When you subscribe to a paid plan, your payment is processed by Razorpay (for India/INR payments) or Paddle (for international/USD payments). We do not store your card number, bank details, or payment information on our servers. All payment data is processed exclusively by our payment providers in accordance with their respective security and privacy policies.

Children's privacy
SmallPDF.us is not directed at children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it promptly.
International users
SmallPDF.us is operated from India. If you access our service from outside India, your data may be transferred and processed in jurisdictions with different data protection laws. International payments are processed in USD via Paddle — your payment data is subject to Paddle's privacy policy. By using our service, you consent to this transfer, subject to this Privacy Policy.
